Hi, I’m Lisa Jobe, a Certified Personal Trainer and the founder of The Wellness Wheels Co.—a mobile fitness studio designed especially for women over 50 who want to feel strong, healthy, and confident.
I started this company because I know firsthand how tough it can be to prioritize health while juggling family, work, and life changes—especially after 50. I’m 52, a mom of two (plus one very energetic cockapoo named Oliver), and I’ve been through the ups and downs of postpartum recovery, menopause, and navigating injuries like plantar fasciitis. I have a passion for health and fitness along with being an avid John Mayer fan.
After running two half marathons to get healthy after having my kids, I discovered the value of strength training when running no longer worked for me. I’ve been a gym member for over 18 years and became a certified trainer in 2012, earning my CPTN certification in 2013. I started training women in my home gym and quickly saw a pattern—so many women stuck doing cardio, unsure of how to safely lift weights or make real progress toward their goals.
That’s why I created The Wellness Wheels Co.—think of it like a food truck, but for fitness! It’s a fully equipped mobile gym that brings workouts to your doorstep without locking you into a long-term contract or an intimidating gym environment. My goal is to make strength training accessible, comfortable, and customized for each woman I work with.
Weight training isn’t just about building muscle—it’s about building resilience. As women age, resistance training becomes essential for maintaining bone density, preserving lean muscle mass, improving balance, boosting metabolism, and supporting hormonal health. I’m passionate about helping women gain the knowledge and confidence to make strength training a lifelong habit, not an afterthought.
In addition to fitness coaching, I offer nutrition planning and grocery label guidance. Living with dairy and gluten intolerances myself, I’ve spent years learning how to read ingredient lists and understand nutrition labels—especially how carbohydrates, additives, and misleading health claims can impact wellness. I help women make smart, informed choices at the grocery store so they feel confident in their everyday decisions.
I also stay current in the field by taking a new course and exam each fall to deepen my knowledge of health, fitness, and nutrition.
If you’re ready to start feeling better, moving with confidence, and taking control of your health—on your terms—I’d love to meet you.
